The Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park is a unique hybrid energy development integrating wind and solar PV technology.

This Hub will combine 210MW of wind energy and 110MW of solar, and will be the biggest hybrid wind-solar project in Australia when completed. However, this will likely be the first of many such hybrids planned for South Australia, particularly after a new transmission line is built from SA to NSW.

KHC were asked to team up with the reputable OEM giant Tesmec Australia on this project and assist with the installation of the inground utilities through the innovative mechanical laying methodology.
